Who can use Sippo
You must be 18 or over to use Sippo. By using Sippo you confirm you are 18 or older.
What Sippo does
Sippo introduces people to small gatherings run by independent hosts, and to the people at them. Sippo does not run the gatherings. Each host is responsible for their gathering, venue, price and rules.
Payment and refunds
Hosts set their own prices and collect payment directly from guests. Today Sippo does not collect payment. If that changes, we will update these terms and tell you on WhatsApp first. Sippo will never ask for your UPI PIN, OTP or card details. Payment and refunds are between you and the host.
Rules for guests
Be respectful to hosts and other guests. If you can't make it, tell the host. Hosts decide who comes, and they can say no.
You can bring a child only to a gathering marked Families, and only your own child or a child in your care, as your plus-one. Stay with them for the whole gathering; you are responsible for them.
Rules for hosts
Use applicants' details only for your own gatherings, and never share them or add them to other lists. Approve guests fairly, keep your venue safe and follow the law. Tell guests about any change through Sippo.
When you set up a gathering, say who it is for: anyone 18 or over, couples, or families. If you mark it Families, make sure the venue and the activity suit children.
Safety reports
If something goes wrong at a gathering, send REPORT to Sippo on WhatsApp or email hello@sippo.ai. We read every report, may contact the people involved, and may pause or remove anyone from Sippo. In an emergency, call 112 first.
AI in chat and calls
Sippo's WhatsApp replies and optional calls are run by AI, and Sippo says so at the start of every call. AI can make mistakes; check important details such as time, place and price with your host. A person at Sippo reviews reports and host approvals.
Stopping and leaving
Send STOP to pause messages and calls. Send DELETE to remove your data. We may stop providing Sippo to anyone who breaks these terms.
Liability
Sippo introduces people and does not control what happens at a gathering. To the extent the law allows, BUG CONTROL LLP is not responsible for loss or harm arising from a gathering, a host or another guest.
Law
These terms follow the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana handle any dispute.
Changes
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and tell you on WhatsApp.
